BP's Jonny Freeman to chair WFA DIGITALFORUM

Jonny Freeman, Global Digital SME at BP, has taken over the chair of the WFA's DIGITALFORUM. Jonny has more than 12 years of experience in digital and marketing communications, gained in a range of global blue chip companies.

Jonny started at BP in 2011, where he leads and energizes its global fuels businesses on the role of digital through strategic and best practice use of digital marketing. He has previously worked at Apple and Honda and is a recognised voice in the UK industry, previously through his involvement of ISBA, the Voice of British Advertisers' Digital Action Group.

He replaces Cate Moore, Head of Media and Digital Innovation, Western Europe at Diageo, who chaired the FORUM in 2013. Jonny will work closely with the WFA team in helping deliver on priority areas for the DIGITAL FORUM, including:

- Internal and external digital marketing capabilities
- ROI from worldwide digital marketing investment
- Global content strategies
- Focus on 'platforms'; social, mobile, search
