Germans question whether advertising today is credible and honest

The German Advertiser Association (OWM) will be holding its 17th conference on 15th November 2012 in Berlin. This event will bring together key decision makers in marketing and media to discuss and debate topics such as credibility and honesty in advertising.

The conference will raise issues such as whether advertising and advertisers today are still credible, and whether accusations of dishonesty and untrustworthiness are justified. It will look at what consumers expect from advertising and what are todays and future requirements for advertisers, agencies and media. It will also raise questions such as “don't we always have to play fair with our partners?”
