New Zealand's ANZA appoints CEO

Back to the overview
The Association of New Zealand Advertisers (ANZA) has announced that Lindsay Mouat has been appointed as CEO from 1 July 2011. Lindsay succeeds retiring CEO Jeremy Irwin who leaves ANZA at the end of June.

Prior to joining ANZA in 2009 as General Manager-Commercial, Lindsay had held a variety of business management positions, including that of New Zealand Director for Unilever and marketing roles with Glaxo and Fletcher Challenge. Lindsay was recently elected as Vice-Chairman of the Advertising Standards Authority and is a Board member of the Food Industry Group.

ANZA Chairman Maurice Gunnell described how Lindsay's appointment reflected an increasing focus by ANZA on the commercial challenges facing their advertiser members in addition to managing the multifaceted risks to sustaining responsible industry self-regulation of advertising.
