Spanish hold 13th edition of “Effie Awards”

The 13th edition of the Spanish Effie (“Effectiveness”) Awards gala took place on October 27th in Madrid. The event is one of the most popular events organised by the Spanish Advertisers Association (aea), with nearly 2000 participants. This year, 82 campaigns were shortlisted from 147 entries, with the selection criteria including innovation, ROI, measurement, and level of complexity.

The Effie Awards Gala forms part of aea's 'Effectiveness Day', which included a number of events throughout the day and featured guest speakers, such as Simon Clift, former CMO of Unilever. The theme of the day was 'Climate Changed: How digital media and the changing agenda of citizens' concerns is changing brand communications forever.'
