Summary results from NAC survey on types of members

WFA recently ran a survey on types of organisations our National Associations have in membership. 37 Associations responded to the survey, and the primary results are summarised below:
  • 81% of associations have retailers as members.
  • Most do not have media owners and media agencies in membership, thereby reinforcing the position of an Advertiser Association as representing the interests of client-side marketers.
  • For those associations with media owners and media agencies as members, there are strict safeguards in place to limit their participation and voting rights on executive boards.
