Turks hold Advertising Symposium on advertising self-regulation

On 30 November, the Turkish Advertiser Association (RVD) held a symposium in collaboration with the Turkish advertising agencies association and the advertising self-regulatory organisation (SRO). The 'Advertising Symposium' brought together both public and private sector to discuss current challenges to advertising self-regulation with a focus on the self-regulation of digital marketing communications and product placement.

WFA attended the meeting in order to present its vision for how the industry is rolling out effective advertising self-regulation to cover digital communications based on a best practice model developed by the European Advertising Standards Alliance.
