WFA has announced the recruitment of Caroline Pathy as the organisation’s Director of Better Marketing, leading WFA’s flagship network for global Chief Marketing Officers, the CMO Forum.
Caroline has 20 years of media and digital expertise combined with a strong experience in marketing and digital operations. She joins WFA from Cereal Partners Worldwide, a joint venture between General Mills and Nestlé, where she served as Global Head of Media and Digital for four years, being responsible for leading the global media organisation and overseeing the digital transformation of their marketing operations.
Caroline started her career on the agency side at Universal McCann and then had senior leadership roles in media sales including ITV in the UK. She later moved client side, holding various positions in media, digital and marketing at Gillette Group, Procter & Gamble and Kellogg before joining Cereal Partners Worldwide in 2014.
In her role at WFA, she will lead an exclusive, invitation-only network bringing together 100 of the most experienced and influential global marketing leaders worldwide to tackle the biggest challenges facing our ecosystem.
Caroline’s appointment follows the launch of WFA’s Better Marketing initiative, for which WFA, in partnership with The Economist Group, interviewed 10 global CMOs at Cannes Lions this year about what makes for better marketing. Highlights below:
