The WFA has announced the recruitment of two new senior staff members. Ranji David has been appointed Director of Marketing for Asia-Pacific, working out of Singapore. Claire Francis joins the WFA as its first-ever Head of Membership, a position created in response to the WFA's expanding membership.

A Singaporean national, Ranji David was previously at Samsung, where she spent just under two and a half years in various roles including regional head of marketing (for mobile phones) and regional head of digital marketing and media management. Before that, she worked as Executive Director of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) South East Asia, as well as an Executive Search professional at The Talent Business.

Ranji's main role will be to support WFA corporate members in the region by helping to build on the existing working groups that come together regularly across Asia-Pacific on integrated marketing communications, digital marketing and media and help nurture a fully-fledged regional CMO group, the first of which will take place on September 10th in Singapore.

She will work in close collaboration with Rob Dreblow, WFA's head of marketing capabilities who is based in London, as well as the WFA marketing team based in Brussels.

A British national, Claire Francis has a decade of member services and industry body experience. Most recently, she headed up the membership team at the Internet Advertising Bureau in London (IAB UK) where she spent four and a half years, and prior to that, serving the collective needs of telecoms operators at the GSMA.

In her new role as Head of Membership for the WFA, Claire's main focus will be on delivering greater added value to all WFA member organisations.

Based in the UK, Claire will be working from both London and Brussels.

"We're delighted to have recruited two new staff members with such a standout calibre and experience. Ranji and Claire are highly respected experts and we have every confidence that they will be able to take our services to a new level, both in Asia-Pacific and worldwide", said Stephan Loerke, WFA Managing Director.
