WFA's Asia Advisory Board

Under the leadership of Rupen Desai, WFA’s Vice-President for Asia-Pacific, the Asia Advisory Board’s vision is to champion better marketing and to make marketing better across the region. It aims to represent the full spectrum of marketing’s value and elevate its influence at every level, from the C-suite to emerging talent.

WFA in Asia

With the support of the Asia Advisory Board, WFA has developed a programme of initiatives aligned with the region’s most pressing industry needs, focusing not only on better marketing but also on making marketing better. The work in the region is guided by four key priorities:

1. Fostering a sense of unity within the region

Facilitating exchange of experiences among senior marketers in Asia to inspire and elevate the client-side marketing community.

2. Positioning Asia-Pacific as a global hub of innovation and proposed best practice

The world needs more Asia, home to many influential emerging marketing trends.

3. Translating global initiatives into regional and local pathways

Adapting existing industry strategies to reflect Asia’s diverse cultural and market landscapes.

4. Upskilling and reskilling talent in the region

Bridging the learning gap and empowering marketers across Asia to excel in their roles.
