Topic: Retail Media taskforce: discussing ISBA Retail Media Study and going further into IAB Europe retail media standards

WFA Retail Media Taskforce will meet on December 8 to discuss work focused on emerging standards and governance for retail media in the UK and Europe.

This time, Dan Larden at ISBA will brief us on key findings from their recent Retail Media Study across six themes (people, strategy, partnerships, standards, value, and governance), and how this work could help members located elsewhere. Dan will also share early thinking around Phase 2 of the study, exploring independent audits of retail media spend and audience validation to strengthen transparency and trust.

WFA will then have shared some of the feedback from the previous workshop with IAB Europe. We can continue the conversation as appropriate, looking to evolve standards work and help members achieve more from their retail media investments. The session is designed to gather practical input from WFA members on how to shape consistent governance and measurement principles across markets, and how WFA can best help drive these further."
