In November, over 700 Kenyan marketers gathered to celebrate the best marketing campaigns of the year at the annual MSK Gala organised by the
Marketing Society of Kenya (MSK).
The night's big winners were local telecom company Safaricom, who took home the Best Advertising Campaign award for
"Marketing the Network", and ICT Authority, who bagged the Judges Choice and Best Distribution Strategy and Implementation awards for their campaign
"DigiSchool" and their nationwide implementation of their Digital Literacy Programme.
Other
winners include Airtel as Best Digital Marketing Campaign for
"The Madaraka Day Story", Coca-Cola as Best Sports Marketing for
"Taste the Feeling", and local bank KCB as Best Sustainability Marketing and Social Enterprise for
"2jiajiri" and their commitment to fostering innovation and creating jobs in Kenya.
