Chris Burggraeve, exiting WFA President, ended his presidential term in Brussels with an awards ceremony to recognize and honour industry initiatives which have delivered significant added value to the marketer community at local level. This was the second time that WFA had held the President’s Awards, following the 2010 Global Marketer Week in Istanbul.
To win a President’s Award, National Advertiser Associations were invited to submit industry initiatives across marketing communications, audience measurement, advertising self-regulation, ethics in advertising, CSR, etc.
WFA received 13 entries from 8 associations. The three winning associations were:

– ANDA Chile for its Sustainable marketing: Energy Saving
– UBA, Belgium for the UBA Academy
