PAG Meeting Overview (May 2023)

On the agenda:

• Eva Funken (Policy Officer, Circular Economy, Sustainable Production & Consumption, DG ENV, European Commission) spoke on the recently adopted proposal for a Green Claims Directive
• WFA gave an overview of the Commission's recently launched voluntary ‘Cookie Pledge’, and update on the DSA/DMA implementation process and WFA's engagement, the recent Parliament's AVMSD implementation report and the latest on the EU’s efforts to combat ‘greenwashing’ in advertising.
